Ryder is 3 and loves all things trucks, cars, construction equipment, and tractors…pretty much if it has wheels, he wants it! It was a dreary day, but we still had fun playing around the lake. He’ll melt your heart with those beautiful blue eyes! You could see in his eye, he was waiting for us to look away so he could roll his cars down the dam! It did look like an awesome ramp for some play cars, although, I don’t think Jason would have been able to save them. Ryder, thanks for letting me follow you around while playing with your cars!
Myles was pretty impressive at this shoot, especially for a 3 year old! He listened so well and put up with me posing and following him around with my camera. He’s definitely a natural! Myles is great at doing the Mickey Pose, I love that we captured everyone doing it on the bridge! What a beautiful family. Oh, look at those lashes… Thanks guys for letting me capture your treasured moments with your family!
Yesterday was a perfect day to get out to the pumpkin patches! We went to Schaake’s Pumpkin Patch outside of Lawrence. We’ve been many times and love it for the free admission and activities. It’s smaller than some we’ve been to, but has everything we need, and did I mention, free admission?! It’s best to get there right when it opens, because it does get busy! The kids had a good time looking for pumpkins and then playing after!
Not great since it was taken from my camera phone, but one of the family!
I was happy to see one of my favorite client families this weekend! I love to see the changes each year as the kids grow. These boys are so adorable, I absolutely love Landon’s glasses, he’s so trendy with a great smile! And, Dylan keeps me entertained when he randomly just walks off, or when he shows off his belly! What a cutie! It was great to see you guys, can’t wait for our next session! Enjoy these little gentlemen. ;)
So, I’ve had this idea in my head for awhile now to do a “Tea Party” theme with Alexandria, then I thought it would be fun to have her cousin Micah join her, I mean, you can’t really have a tea party by yourself! Since Micah just turned 1, this worked out perfect to combine a tea party and her 1 year old smash cake session! Although, Micah was such a lady, there wasn’t too much smashing. These girls were the cutest interacting with each other and actually “playing” with the tea set. I absolutely love these images. I may be bias, but these girls are absolutely beautiful.
