Things About Me Thursday | Overland Park KS Baby Photographer
1. I love lists. I realize that if I have a list, I get so much more done. Probably because I love to cross off things even more. We are bad about doing things if we don’t have a list or an agenda ahead of time. It doesn’t help that neither of us are good at making decisions and being motivated. We’ll come home from work, feed Charlie baby food, start dinner, play with Charlie, watch a little tv while we eat, then it’s time to start Charlie’s bedtime routine. But, if we have a list, we’ll come home and get started on whatever we choose to do, then proceed with the rest of our night…makes our evenings seem longer and we get things done! The other night, we went and picked out plants and flowers for the yard, took Charlie’s 9 month photos, and still had playing time with Charlie. It’s nice to have a lazy night here and there, but I am going to start having lists of things to do (some fun, some to get things done around the house) and hopefully it will motivate us!
2. We watched the new Muppets Movie. It’s a great movie for all of you that grew up watching them each week! It’s always nice to have a blast from the past. Well, since then, I’ve had the Mahna Mahna in my head off and on. If you don’t remember it, click here. You can also create your own here. There are different versions, but it’s pretty catchy. Hope you think of me when you’re humming it to yourself. =)
3. I love my cowboy boots. I tend to look for dresses that will go with my boots when out shopping, instead of the other way around. I love dresses in general, especially sun-dresses. They are just so comfy and cute, I look forward to warm weather so I can start to wear dresses again! It’s funny growing up on farm, I didn’t think of boots as a fashion statement, but it sure is now. I like to think my county-ness (yes, that’s a word now) comes out when I wear my boots.
4. Favorite desserts: Strawberry Shortcake, Boston Creme Pie, No Bake Cookies (no coconut), and Puppy Chow.
5. We took some photos of Charlie, I can’t believe he’s 9 months old. Pretty soon I’ll be planning his 1st birthday party! I absolutely adore this first photo. Michael was just holding him as I was getting settings on my camera set and I looked up and caught this image. I love, love, love it! I’m so lucky to have such an awesome husband and daddy for Charlie!
Charlie didn’t know what to think of the grass, but when Michael used one of the cats as a prop, that brought out some smiles. He loves dancing cats…
